Showcasing reflections and commentary from Schulich’s thought leaders on the latest emerging trends in management and the world of business.
Preparing Our Students for the New Age of AI
When it comes teaching, learning and research related to Artificial Intelligence, Schulich has been at the forefront of the AI revolution for a number of years now.The School launched one of the world’s first Masters programs in Artificial Intelligence – a program that has seen skyrocketing demand ever since the advent of ChatGPT and the growing awareness of how AI is transforming our world.
This month, we’re launching a new “super course” open to all Schulich students that leverages Schulich’s expertise in AI, Machine Learning and Data Analytics. We did something similar during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when we created a first-of-its-kind online inter-disciplinary course called “Leading Through the Pandemic”.
The course is led by Professor Murat Kristal, Special Advisor, AI & Business Analytics and Director of our School’s new MBA in Technology Leadership. In this month’s column, Professor Kristal gives an overview of how this innovative course will ground our students in the key fundamentals of AI and Machine Learning, as well as on how to leverage the mechanics and applications of these transformative technologies.
The Age of AI is clearly at our doorstep and is reshaping the world of business in ways that were unimaginable only a few years ago. I encourage you to read Professor Kristal’s column to see how we’re preparing our students – everyone from our undergrads to our Executive MBAs – to use the profound technological advances that are changing the way we do business.
