Entrance Funding

 

Today! Domestic Students Log in to your Schulich Profile Account and go to the “Manage Application” section to apply for entrance funding.

Please note: Incoming joint program students are only eligible to apply for entrance funding in the term that they start at Schulich.

Study Permits & Visas
Today! International
Students
  1. Apply early for a study permit (mandatory), using your Offer of Admission and Work Requirement letters.
  2. Review the document requirements before applying. You will also be issued a temporary resident visa (TRV) or electronic travel authorization (eTA) as applicable.
  3. Check your application processing time.

Apply for Graduate Housing Today! If Applicable
  1. Review your housing options here. Visit the YorkU Housing Services website for details on occupancy, rates and lease term information.
  2. Fill out the housing application for newly admitted students.
Apply for Advanced Standing / Waiver With Replacement
Today! If Applicable
  1. You may be eligible for advanced standing in certain MBA 1 core courses. Learn more about eligibility requirements here.
  2. If you qualify, submit a petition for Advanced Standing/Waiver With Replacement.
MBA Smart Start Various Dates All MBA Students
  1. Note that MBA Smart Start is a mandatory session to learn about important program details and expectations.
  2. Watch for details to be e-mailed to you from Student & Enrolment Services, so that you can register. You must register for Smart Start to receive course enrolment details!
Strategy Field Study (601) Info Session June Full-Time Accelerated MBA Students
  1. If you are a full-time Accelerated student, note that you’ll begin your Strategy Field Study in the Fall term. An information session will be held for you in the summer, to give you an overview of the project and allow you to form a group.
  2. Watch for additional details to be e-mailed to you.
Pre-Arrival Webinar

  1. Note that this online session will address your arrival questions related to topics such as accommodations, study permits, health coverage and travel to Toronto.
  2. Ensure that you have registered for your choice of date.
New To Canada Orientation August 29-30 International Students
  1. New To Canada Orientation is hosted by the International Relations team, and is part of your Ineō Orientation. It’s a chance for us to welcome you to Toronto and support you in your transition to Canada.
  2. Plan your travel to arrive on time for the New To Canada Orientation. Watch for details to be sent via e-mail.
Ineō: MBA Orientation September 3-7 All Students
  1. Ineō encompasses many different activities designed to prepare you for the journey ahead, motivate you to succeed, and help you feel connected to your new community.
  2. Note that specific activities on these dates will vary depending on your program and enrolment status.
