It is my great honor to get an invitation to join a virtual retirement party for Ric from Henry through a suggestion of Ric’s son, Alex.

I have not met Ric for twenty-four years since I finished my Ph.D. from Schulich School of Business. Ric taught me MIS course and also was my co-advisor with Christine Oliver. He kindly advised me through his wisdom and expertise so that I could finish my PhD within four years. I am very lucky to meet such a nice, kind, and funny professor, who was willing to help every time I needed one. Thank you very much for everything that you have done for me. My career successes cannot be achieved without the good academic foundation from you and other professors at York. Last but not least, I would like to say that Ric is one of the most memorable persons I have known from Canada.
