Dear Bela,
You have been the face of the Dean's office ever since I can remember. What strikes me most and is etched in my memory is how you made me and all those who entered the Dean's office feel. You were always so genuine, always so interested in your guests. Always asking for the wellbeing of our children, our respective families, always offering coffee or in my case a Coke Zero (sigh ….I know not good for me as you told me on many occasions and urged me to drink water instead....still working on it!). You did it in a manner that was so authentic as if we were entering your own home. Indeed, you looked after the Dean's office as if it was. You made me, all of us feel welcome. You ran the office so efficiently - always anticipating, communicating, engaging.
What I shall miss most is seeing your kind face and your happy smile.
Bela, I wish you many more healthy, happy and joyful years with your beloved children and grandchildren.
I shall miss you a great deal.

Sincerely,

Rami Mayer
