Alan – I’ve greatly enjoyed working with you for more than 20 years. You were at all times gracious and kind, and you often imparted words of wisdom in a lighthearted and humorous way. You were clearly a man who had a thirst for knowledge and a love of learning but were never stuffy or boring.
It’s been a real honour working with you, Alan, and I’ll miss you (as will the business press who could always count on your for a pithy quote). Thank you for your generous assistance whenever I needed some advice or help.
