We have put together a roadmap outlining all we have to offer for every milestone of your university career. Below is a list of online tools, wellness programs, advising sessions, learning workshops, student clubs and academic resources available to our Schulich undergraduate students.

First Year: Credits 0 – 30

- Attend your First Year enrolment appointment.
- Complete the YU Start Modules before Fall Classes begin.
- During the summer, email the First Year Advisor (firstyearadvisor@schulich.yorku.ca) with any questions or concerns.
- Attend your Academic Orientation and learn about Schulich’s Culture of Integrity.
- Complete the Academic Honesty modules on Canvas.
- Read “My First 6 Weeks” emails series located in Canvas.
- Visit Bronfman Business Library’s website for research assistance and resources.
- Attend a Learning Skills Services Workshop to develop your study strategy.
- Check-in with your Academic Advisor.
- Attend Fall Mandatory Advising in October.
- Attend Winter Mandatory Advising in February.
- Refer to the Student Toolkit on Canvas at least once per term!
- Check your Schulich email daily. To learn how to access your email, refer to the How To module in Canvas.
- If you require academic accommodations, register with Student Accessibility Services, and communicate your accommodations to your course instructors.
- Attend Frosh Week.
- Get to know the Undergraduate Business Society.
- Run for the 1st Year BBA or iBBA Representative in the Undergraduate Business Society.
- Attend UBS Club’s Week.
- Join Schulich’s Wellness Certificate Program.
- Review wellness resources available to students.
- Check out athletic facilities on campus.
- Attend an event at the Centre for Career Design.
- Connect with Schulich alumni.
- Join Becoming YU and learn how to record the valuable skills you are gaining in university.
Second Year: Credits 30 – 60

- Meet with your academic advisor to ensure you are on track.
- Attend Mandatory Advising in the Spring.
- Attend FOCUS in March to learn about the specialization options available to you in Year 3 and 4.
- If you are an iBBA student, make sure that you have your exchange plan in place before the end of the Fall term of year 2. For more information on going on exchange please attend the Exchange School Fair (held every October) to learn more about the process.
- If you are a BBA student interested in going on exchange in Year 3, attend the Exchange School Fair in October of Year 2 for more information.
- Attend a Learning Skills Workshop.
- Review the Academic Honesty modules on Canvas.
- Join Schulich’s Wellness Certificate.
- Book a 1-1 Wellness Check-In.
- Review wellness resources available to students.
- Access resources at York’s Student Counseling, Health, and Well-Being.
- Join a student club related to your career future.

Third Year: Credits 60 – 90

- Meet with your academic advisor to make sure that you’re on track to graduate next year!
- Explore Schulich’s graduate programs.
- Attend a Learning Skills Services Workshop – it’s never too late to develop your academic skills to end your Schulich journey successfully.
- Join Schulich’s Wellness Certificate Program.
- Book a 1-1 Wellness Check-In.
- Review wellness resources available to students.
- Are you a BBA student considering going on an international exchange in year 4? Attend the Exchange School Fair for more information.
- Run for an executive position in a student club.
- Join a student club related to your career future.
- Looking for jobs or internships? Check out the Handshake job board.
- Meet with an Industry Advisor at the Centre for Career Design to learn about pathways after graduation.
- Connect with Schulich alumni.
- Look for an on-campus job!
