Schulich Celebrates Inaugural Dean’s Society Donor Reception
On January 14th, the School hosted the inaugural Dean’s Society reception at the St. Andrew’s Club in Toronto.
The Dean’s Society, which was launched during the 2014-2015 Annual Fund campaign, recognizes leadership-level donors to the Schulich Annual Fund (those who give between $1,000 and $24,999 to each Annual Fund campaign). The Society is Schulich’s premier leadership giving association that now has more than 80 members and counting!
Leadership, Loyalty, Vision, Excellence, Passion and Pride – these are all words that embody the spirit and support of the Dean’s Society. Named after Schulich’s Deans – past and present – the Dean’s Society aims to build a strong community of alumni leaders and philanthropists who share the same passion of giving back to their alma mater and to current and future Schulich students. Society members are recognized on the Schulich Alumni Donors Wall, which is located in the Lower Level, with a distinctive leaf symbol according to their level of support.
As Dean Horváth stated at the reception, “Support from generous alumni plays a critical role in keeping Schulich at the forefront of management education – not only today, but in the decades to come.”
