RBC-Schulich Enterprise Forum Explores Global Digital Opportunities for Canadian SMEs
The Centre for Global Enterprise at Schulich invites students, alumni, and Canadian business leaders to the 7th annual RBC Schulich Enterprise Forum. Titled ‘Going Global in a Digital Age’, the Forum will take a place Thursday April 28, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm EST online.
Schulich School of Business launched the Centre for Global Enterprise (CGE) in 2013 to help Canadian small-to-medium sized businesses (SMEs) compete internationally. The Enterprise Forum was introduced to present thought leadership on key issues. RBC is a founding member of the CGE and sponsor of the Forum.
The upcoming RBC-Schulich Enterprise Forum examines how Canadian businesses are using digital technologies and platforms to grow their businesses internationally. It will also introduce the Federal Government’s $4 billion Canada Digital Adoption Program to help Canadian businesses develop a competitive global edge.
“The intangible economy, based on digital technology, is increasingly a driver of enterprise value” said Douglas Kennedy, RBC Managing Director at the CGE. “It provides unprecedented opportunities and ease of access to global markets, but embodies new risks and challenges Canadian businesspeople must master to succeed.”
This year’s Forum’s expert panel includes tech, government, and business consulting leaders:
Lynette Gillen, Vice-President, Commercial Solutions and Trade RBC Royal Bank | Julien Charbonneau, Senior Outreach & Communications Officer, Canada Digital Adoption Program | Jason Abt, Chief Technology Officer, TechInsights |
