GBC Execs Exercise Generosity to Support Students’ Well-being

GBC Execs Frank Paul and Puneet Singh are spearheading the Master’s Level Class of 2017 Class Gift Campaign to champion student well-being. They stepped up to make the first gift toward the purchase of essential fitness and resistance equipment for the Wellness/Fitness Suite in the Graduate Study and Research Building, scheduled to open in March 2018.
“I believe it is important as a graduating student that we give both our time and resources with the goal of improving the quality of life for those students who follow in our footsteps”, says GBC President Frank Paul.
It is a well-known fact, especially amongst alumni and students, that Schulich’s Master’s Level programs are rigorous and robust. “The Schulich experience is fraught with long nights and difficult challenges that push students mentally and physically,” Frank comments.
“Imagine if we had a gym within the Schulich building when we were going through our programs. Getting in 15 to 20 minutes of exercise would have made those late nights a lot more bearable,” adds Puneet, the GBC Director of Community and Alumni Relations.
Gift of any size matters. “We hope that others will join us in donating towards the Master’s Level Class of 2017 Gift Campaign so that we can provide a stress-relieving outlet for our students who work so incredibly hard at becoming the business leaders of tomorrow,” concludes Frank.
