Rick Irving received a Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo in 1981 and joined the Schulich School of Business, York University in 1984. Previously, Rick taught and conducted research on information systems and project management as a tenured Associate Professor. He also served as the Associate Dean, Academic for the Schulich School of Business 1995-1998, and has served in a variety of other administrative roles such as Chair of Faculty Council, Chair of York’s Tenure and Promotion Committee and the Area Coordinator of the Operations Management and Information Systems Area (OMIS).
