    Who can apply to become a Faculty Scholar?

    York University faculty members at any career stage can participate in the program if their research intersects with health sector leadership and management. The Krembil Faculty Scholar appointment is only a status designation. Those interested in applying will be evaluated based on how well their research aligns with the mission and vision of the Centre, as well as their potential involvement with the Krembil Centre community.

    What are the benefits of being a member of the Krembil Faculty Scholars?

    The individuals selected as Faculty Scholars will receive the distinguished “Krembil Faculty Scholar” title and are welcome to include it in their signatures and biographies. Most importantly, the health research community can collaborate, build on each others scholastic energy, participate in research exchanges and seminars and increase the visibility of their work through our extensive network and communication channels. Moreover, it will spotlight the excellent extensive research pertaining to healthcare management and leadership that is taking place in York University.

    How long is the appointment?

    Scholars are appointed for an initial three-year term, which can be renewed upon completion.

    What are the expectations of being a Krembil Faculty Scholar?

    Faculty Scholars will

    • Engage in scholarly collaborations with other Krembil Faculty Scholars.
    • Contribute to the Centre’s research mission.
    • Participate in research seminars and knowledge forums.
    • Advance responsible management and leadership research relevant to the health sector.
