I first met Alan in 2010 when I was involved in AIESEC and he was sitting on the board. He then became my mentor when I served on the national executive. I have so many fond memories of coming to his office for chats. It made me feel important at a young age. He was incredible busy but always made the time for me which I appreciated so much. So many important career and life decisions I would go to him with to seek his council. I loved the stories I would hear along the way that illuminated different truths and gave me different perspectives. He also was a keen observer and judge of talent and I loved to hear his observations on people and situations. A true legend!
