Hi, Alan - I'm very sorry to hear that you're leaving - your presence has been an important part of my experience as a Program Director at SEEC over the last 9 years.

One of things I most appreciate about you is how well you manage to make others feel good about themselves. I remember that when we met, the first thing you said to me was how you had been hearing wonderful things about my work wherever you went in the Ontario Hospital System. You didn't even know me, and you were a fan! Since then, I have really thrived on the faith you had in me and my skills. What more could be said of a great leader/mentor?

I have also very much appreciated and benefited from your ability to see the "big picture", and provide SEEC with strategic directions based on that. Your updates during our PD and faculty days have been invaluable, and your reports often opened my eyes to important trends in our field.

I know whatever your next story will be, you will bring your intelligence and creativity to the task, and make it a success - whether that be retirement activities or a new role somewhere. Whatever your future brings, I'm wishing you the best of everything!
