Kenneth Ngacaku
Kenneth has worked within the realm of architecture and development for the past ten years. Adept at programming and administering design to meet a project’s financial and functional goals, he has gained a wealth of broad and multi-faceted experience working within development teams on commercial, residential, institutional, healthcare, educational, and airport projects.
Kenneth’s interest lies in more clearly understanding the valuable role architects play in enabling commercial property owners to maximize rents and investment values. This is what led him to the Schulich MREI program. Beyond this design value metric – communicating to developers the investment benefits of superior design – the program addresses the real-world opportunities and challenges that exist to deliver quality development projects through courses such as real estate finance, market analysis and asset/portfolio management.
Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from the University of Nairobi in Kenya. He is a registered Architect in Kenya and South Africa, and is currently pursuing licensure in Ontario, having passed the Canadian entrance exams (ExAC) last fall. In addition, Kenneth is a LEED Accredited Professional with a Building Design and Construction Specialty.
