Jordan Trinder
Prior to joining the MREI program, Jordan worked as a high-rise condominium specialist with a prominent land surveying company in downtown Toronto. He consulted land developers through the municipal approval, severance and registration process of complex high-rise mixed-use developments. Working alongside the industry leaders in development, Jordan was inspired to advance his career with a graduate degree in real estate and infrastructure. He chose the MREI program because of the specialized real estate and infrastructure focus complemented by the exposure to broader economic and business concepts and strategies at the highly regarded Schulich School of Business.
Jordan has a background in urban planning, and with the MREI course work and experiential learning opportunities seeks to expand his skillset by focusing on development concepts, joint ventures, finance, investment strategies and asset management. By understanding both the planning and economic aspects of development, Jordan intends to grow as an industry leader. He is on his way to achieving his goal with early success as part of the Schulich Developers’ Den International Case Competition winning team. After graduation, Jordan plans on working for a private developer who builds vibrant communities in urban and suburban settings.
Jordan holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning Degree from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
