Schulich Prof Heads Up Prestigious Journal
Schulich students will be informed of the latest developments in energy economics, energy finance and climate change by the new Editor-in-Chief of one of the most popular research journals in the world. After six years on the editorial board, Dr. Perry Sadorsky, Associate Professor of Economics, has been appointed to Editor-in-Chief of Energy Economics.
“This appointment is a great honour. It is one of the highest forms of professional recognition,” says Dr. Sadorsky. “I was chosen for this position based on the impact my research has had in the field of energy economics and energy finance and my record of editorial board duties in the past – something I am particularly proud of.”
Energy Economics is on track to receive over 1,000 submissions this year. Dr. Sadorsky’s duties include pre-screening submissions, sending submissions out for review and making editorial decisions on the suitability of papers for publication. His commitment is to help Energy Economics to continue to grow in stature throughout the world by attracting high quality and timely research.
