Claire (Xiaoting) Liu

Claire discovered her passion for the real estate industry while working for two years in accounting and commercial real estate leasing, where she monitored a portfolio of 52 offices across Canada.

She chose the Schulich MREI program because it specifically targets students looking to advance their careers in real estate and infrastructure by providing systematic, real-world teaching. It offers classes that cover every aspect of the subject from development to management taught by industry professionals. The School’s strong alumni connection is also a reason she chose this program. Claire plans to hone her skill set in property investment and is looking to work in the development field after completing her MREI degree.

Claire holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) specializing in Accounting from the University of Guelph in Canada.
