Ali Arabsalmany
Prior to joining the Schulich Master of Real Estate and Infrastructure program, Ali worked as a project manager in his family’s residential construction company responsible for the administration and on-site management of projects, including luxury custom home builds and renovations. From a young age, Ali also gained hands-on experience in various trade portions of the projects. The highlight of his development experience was in the planning, design, build and sale of the company’s first custom build residential development in the Bayview Village neighbourhood of Toronto, which was sold at a record price for the area. He has also been a licensed Realtor in the Province of Ontario since 2012.
Ali is active in his community, volunteering at a centre for the precariously housed in the Toronto East region, as well as in federal and provincial elections. Ali also served as the Vice President of the Richmond Hill Young Liberals, having been nominated and elected by his peers. He is also an avid animal lover and is the proud owner of two Maremma Sheepdogs.
Ali holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminology from York University in Toronto, Canada.
