Undergrad Case Competition Teams Shine at LIVE
Last month, our Undergraduate Case Competition team represented us proudly at the 15th annual LIVE Competition, hosted online by the University of Toronto.
Considered Canada’s leading undergraduate strategy case competition, this two-day event brings together students, providing them with the guidance and tools to tackle real-world business challenges and bridging the gap between delegates and corporate partners.
Among the 40 teams competing, Schulich finished in 2nd and 3rd place!
2nd Place Team: Ananya Kakkar, Monica Xie, Nour Nassif, and Rachel Aarons
3rd Place Team: Hira Saleem, Jonathan Zhou, Matthew Yu, and Yusuf Khan
Through four intense and multi-faceted rounds, teams are asked to come up with strategies, produce marketing plans and reports, generate mock-ups, develop full websites and design a presentation deck in under three hours to showcase their talents.
“These students worked through the holidays and throughout January, practicing not only amongst themselves, but also in front of many external judges and experts to earn their spots,” shared Mona Afrouz, Marketing and Management Instructor at Schulich and Program Director of the Undergraduate Case Competition team. “I couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.”
