Schulich Launches Part-Time Master of Finance Downtown
Schulich is launching the Part-Time Master of Finance (MF) program, specifically designed to offer working professionals a flexible way to acquire the tools and credentials needed to meet uncharted challenges and opportunities in today’s finance industry. Classes begin in September 2020.
“In today’s financial environment, there is tremendous demand for talented people willing to attain specialized financial skills to navigate through this increasingly complex world,” said George Klar, Program Director and Adjunct Professor of Finance at Schulich. “The Schulich MF program has a record of success in producing exceptional individuals that can step into almost any financial role to achieve success, and more importantly, become the captains of this industry.”
With classes scheduled two evenings per week at our downtown Nadal campus at King and Bay, the curriculum delivers specialized knowledge on both the buy and the sell side of capital markets, whether in investment banking, risk management, or asset management.
Students will engage in critical topics in governance, ethics and the legal aspects of finance, in addition to research and professional industry seminars. Students will graduate in six terms (24 months) of study with an accelerated pathway to their CFA designation.
Prospective students are invited to attend the Part-Time Master of Finance Program’s Launch Event on January 21st at 5:30pm at Nadal Campus downtown at King and Bay, which will feature a panel discussion and provide an opportunity to network with other prospective students, faculty and alumni.
