Kellogg-Schulich EMBA alumnus recognized in Auto Remarketing’s Under 40
Wilton Wong, Kellogg-Schulich EMBA alumnus and Senior Director Automotive and Insurance, Strategy & Innovation, Equifax Canada Co., has been recognized among industry colleagues in Remarketing’s Under 40.
“I am grateful to have been nominated and selected and I equate the recognition with being proud that I’ve been able to add value to my colleagues, clients and partners with whom I work closely with,” Wilton said.
Every year Auto Remarketing Canada magazine honours young people who are making waves in Canada’s auto industry. This year’s honourees were celebrated Auto Remarketing Canada Conference at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto in March 2019.
“With each role I’ve had, it has been very important that the position is one where I am confident I can make a difference, but also one which provides a learning and growth opportunity,” said Wilton. “Opportunities to stretch don’t always need to be associated with a higher title and based on some great advice from a former boss, making lateral moves at the right time to gain new skills is a strategic way to manage one’s career and has proven to yield some of the best learning experiences I’ve had.”
Wilton says he doesn’t know where the future will lead him, but he feels secure moving forwards with his EMBA.
“Ultimately, having a foundation of education via the EMBA with a network of amazing classmates and alumni has provided an invaluable baseline of business knowledge and a welcoming community to reach out to for any guidance if ever needed,” Wilton said.
