EMBA Student Receives Franklin and Sasarman Simard Scholarship
Congratulations to Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA student, Akriti Bhatnagar for being selected the 2021 recipient of the Franklin and Sasarman Simard Scholarship.
“20 years ago, my father did a course through his employer in India, at the Kellogg School of Management, and I was always enthralled with his stories and experience. Two decades later, I find myself about to complete my Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA. The program has enabled me to leverage diverse global perspectives and has surpassed all expectations. Every fellow student is such a fantastic addition to my experience. I have truly enjoyed all the courses and been enriched by the elective courses.
This scholarship has been an overwhelming display of faith and confidence in my abilities. I am deeply honored to be its recipient and would like to express my gratitude to the donors in thinking me worthy of this generous contribution and investing in my future. I hope to graduate as a transformational leader who makes a difference in the world.”
The Franklin and Sasarman Simard scholarship acknowledges a student who has a strong duty of respect and service towards individuals and local communities while embracing a global cultural context; promotion of equality in matters of gender, race and creed; and resilience and perseverance through lifelong learning.
