Announcing the Inaugural Recipient of the CN Railway Tech MBA Diversity and Inclusion Award
Rodeya Nujhath’s Schulich journey began this fall as she pursues her Tech MBA degree at the Schulich School of Business. Rodeya is honoured to be selected as the inaugural recipient of the distinguished CN Railway Tech MBA Diversity and Inclusion Award, valued at $10,000.
For Rodeya, this award reassures her that her path is supported by those who value education, diversity, and innovation. “This award is much more than financial assistance—it’s a meaningful endorsement of my abilities. I am committed to using this opportunity to grow, contribute to the communities I am part of, and pay this kindness forward in the future,” shares Rodeya.
Spearheaded by Schulich alumnus Ramanpreet Boparai (IMBA ’05), Director of Financial Planning at CN Railway and a member of Schulich’s Tech MBA Advisory Council, the award recognizes equity-deserving students who self-identify as Black, Indigenous or Female and demonstrate community leadership and academic achievement. The award underscores CN Railway’s commitment to supporting organizations that are dedicated to creating a culture of diversity and inclusion in business and society.
“It’s truly inspiring to see CN Railway’s sustained efforts in advancing diversity and inclusion come into fruition through philanthropy and community engagement. I’m proud of CN and Schulich’s shared commitment to championing the next generation of purpose-driven change makers and innovators. Technology evolves rapidly and robustly—we need to harness the power of diversity to develop future leaders who can tackle the constant changes in tech and turn challenges into opportunities,” says Olivier Chouc, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, CN Railway.
