Monica Da Ponte

Monica is principal at boutique consultancy Shift & Build. She is an impact-oriented systems thinker focused on helping organizations design and implement strategies that deliver social, environmental and economic value at scale. Monica has extensive experience in a breadth of areas ranging from sustainability strategies and sustainable procurement to gender-based violence and economic inequality.

Monica has 20 years’ progressive experience in business and not for profit management. Prior to Shift & Build, she was the Executive Director, Education at Public Services Health and Safety Association. Preceding PSHSA, she led WWF-Canada’s strategic partnerships team. Monica began her career at Procter & Gamble.

Monica holds a BBA with a major in Marketing and an MBA with a specialization in Sustainability, both from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto.
