  • Investing in the Future – Unlocking Potential: Financial Innovations and Open Banking

A CI Financial – Schulich Panel and Networking Event

Innovation in the financial industry drives growth, efficiency, and better customer experiences. By embracing new technologies and innovative practices, financial institutions can offer more accessible services, streamline operations, reduce costs, and remain competitive. Fintech Solutions and “Open Banking” are transforming the way financial services are delivered. Open banking, also known as consumer-driven finance, gives individuals control over their banking data. Proponents argue that open banking could open the door to a more competitive financial industry and offer consumers more personalized, secure, and transparent financial products and services.

In this session, thought leaders will discuss how Canadian Financial firms are innovating, whether financial institutions in Canada have the will to build a sound and secure open banking ecosystem, what progress has been made, how governments are involved, and ultimately, how consumers will win. Bring your questions and share your ideas with us in this educational and informative session. See you there!
