Description

This course prepares students to design and apply decisionsupport systems that enhance organizational decision-making. It traces the evolution of analytics from spreadsheet-based analysis to enterprise platforms supporting operations and performance management. Through a range of examples, students learn how these tools can improve fficiency, automate routine decisions, and generate actionable insights, with an emphasis on transparency, accountability, and managerial effectiveness.
Prerequisites: OMIS 5110 1.50 and OMIS 5120 1.50 or permission of the instructor
