Graduate Tuition Fees

The fees outlined below are in effect as of Fall 2026 unless otherwise indicated. Please note that tuition is charged per term. Tuition rates are different for domestic and international students.

Fees are based on the currently approved fee framework. Fees listed below include tuition and supplementary fees. For full details on all current tuition, supplementary fees, and student health plans, visit the York Student Financial Services website. Fees are subject to change.

  1. Figures are approximations and intended only as a budget guide for students studying full-time. Costs are listed in Canadian dollars.
  2. On-campus housing varies in price from $1,500 – $2,900 per month depending on the location. For more information on housing on campus, please visit: yorku.ca/housing. On-campus housing is available on a first come, first served basis. Students who are seeking accommodation on campus are strongly encouraged to submit their housing application after accepting their offer of admission.
  3. View detailed meal plan fees on the Food Services – Meal Plans website. Meal plans run from August to April. The average grocery cost is $350–$450 per month.
  4. Transportation costs for single vs. married based off of the OSAP website for 2025-2026.
  5. Rates shown are based on the 2025–2026 academic year for a single person. Participation in the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) is mandatory for international students (and their accompanying dependents). The Graduate Student Association (GSA) plan provides dental and drug coverage and is mandatory for all full-time domestic and international students, unless they have alternative coverage. Coverage for spouses and families is available. Health, drug, and dental plan rates (including GSA costs) are based on the 2025–2026 academic year and are subject to change.

Tech MBA Program Fees

Hennick JD /MBA Program Fees (Schulich only)

Students in the full-time Hennick JD/MBA pay three terms of full-time tuition to Schulich and five terms of full-time tuition to Osgoode Hall Law School. A term is equivalent to one semester, or 12 weeks.

Students in the full-time MBA/MFA or MBA/MA pay three terms of full-time tuition to Schulich and three terms of full-time tuition to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
