• Developing the Next Generation of Global Leaders

The Global Metals and Minerals Management (GMM) Diploma at Schulich is designed to address the evolving needs of the Metals and Minerals value chain, developing those who will lead the transition to a global low-carbon economy through responsible mineral development and use.

The GMM Diploma provides an MBA level of education while enabling you to continue full-time employment. This ensures a rich and diverse mix of backgrounds and experience, as well as exposure to current trends and developments.

The GMM Diploma provides a business education that is globally accessible to current and future leaders in companies where metals and minerals play a key role.  The focus of this education is:

    • The analysis and assessment of the industry and the role it plays in the global economy, specifically the entire value chain from the first moment metals and minerals are identified to the industrial consumption and recycling of these materials.
    • The development of leadership skills to empower our students to make choices to create superior wealth, while ensuring the responsible development and use of metals and minerals for the benefit of all stakeholders.

The GMM Diploma is offered over a nine-month period and includes on-line classes, two in-person residences, one-on-one coaching and self-paced asynchronous materials.
