Apply early for a study permit (mandatory), using your Offer of Admission and Work Requirement letters.  Review the document requirements before applying. You will also be issued a temporary resident visa (TRV) or electronic travel authorization (eTA) as applicable.

Apply for Graduate Housing Today! If Applicable Review your housing options here. Visit the YorkU Housing Services website for details on occupancy, rates and lease term information.

Fill out the housing application for newly admitted students.

New To Canada Orientation
May 1 International Students New To Canada Orientation is hosted by the International Relations team. It’s a chance for us to welcome you to Toronto and support you in your transition to Canada.

Plan your travel to arrive on time for the New To Canada Orientation. Confirm your attendance here.

DIAc Orientation
May 3 All students Your DIAc orientation is a mandatory event designed to prepare you for the program, motivate you to succeed, and help you feel connected to your new community.

Ensure that you have registered for orientation. A detailed schedule will be e-mailed to you from Student & Enrolment Services.
