Jerome Dwight (MBA ’05) has a passion for efficiency.

As one of Canada’s leading experts on fintech, SaaS and blockchain Dwight has served as digital pioneer with a string of successful business transformations across a variety of industries. The underlying thread connecting Dwight’s myriad successes includes identifying, transforming, and accelerating businesses and start-ups in burgeoning markets through digitization.

“I look for opportunities to address inefficiencies in the market that are under the radar,” says Dwight. “We use emerging technology, capital and rapid innovation to drive businesses forward.”

Specializing in Strategic Management and International Business at Schulich, Dwight says his studies connected foundational learning into real world settings.

Dwight is currently the CEO of BoomerangFX a SaaS-based technology company that has developed one of the world’s first end-to-end healthcare practice management solutions designed for the non-insured, private-pay cosmetic surgery, dermatology, medical spa, ophthalmology, hair restoration, dentistry, women’s health, and podiatric industry segments. Built on advanced artificial intelligence (AI), the revolutionary technology includes marketing automation, telemedicine-virtual consultations, clinic management dashboards, e-scripting and electronic medical records, all in a single easy-to-use platform.

“We have invested in a multimillion-dollar product roadmap to build AI across all our platform capabilities,” said Dwight. “Our technology guides clinic-owners through critical business decisions with real-time insights into patient engagement, optimal clinic revenues, and the optimal allocation of digital advertising dollars.”

Prior to BoomerangFX, Dwight previously scaled several ventures including prominent Canadian cryptocurrency custody provider Brane Inc. and previously led the launch of Canada’s first AI-driven automotive fintech lender and car buying marketplace both owned by AutoTrader parent company, Cox Automotive.
