The Esade – Schulich BBA Dual Degree allows students to earn two degrees in just four years — one from Schulich School of Business and one from Esade Business School — while studying in both Toronto and Barcelona, combining academic excellence, cultural immersion, and career opportunity.
This program provides students with an international business education, blending two academic systems and diverse learning environments. Participants will develop the essential knowledge and skills to tackle global business challenges, thrive in multicultural settings, and succeed in an interconnected economy. This letter should focus on the applicant’s academic progress and future potential. This letter should ideally be authored by a current or former professor who can speak to the applicant’s scholastic abilities.

This letter should address the applicant’s personal attributes and leadership capabilities as outlined in the application materials. Ideal recommenders for this letter may include individuals who have overseen programs or activities in which the applicant has participated, and who can attest to the applicant’s character and leadership potential.

This statement should outline the applicant’s academic, personal, and professional goals. It should specify the school they wish to attend and explain their reasons for choosing it. The applicant should also describe their motivation for pursuing the program.

- Must be nominated by an Esade mobility coordinator.
- Complete at least 120 ECTS including compulsory and basic training courses (60 Schulich credits) by the end of Year 2
- Academic requirement: Minimum 7.5 GPA in the first year
- Language Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency is considered to be met based on having studied two years of the BBA at ESADE with all subjects in English.

Application Process and Deadlines

- Esade will nominate their shortlisted candidates to Schulich through the online nomination form that will be sent directly to the program coordinator by November 30. Nominated students will receive an application package from Schulich.
- Esade applicants must submit their complete dual degree application and online interview to Schulich by January 12.
- Schulich will send acceptance letters to successful applicants by end of January 2027.
- Esade students must confirm their acceptance by February 6th, 2027.
