The Schulich Masters Pathway (SMP) gives eligible York University undergraduate students the opportunity to receive conditional admission to one of three participating Schulich Masters programs: the Master of Management, Master of Supply Chain Management, or Master of Health Industry Administration.
Along the way, students can stay connected to Schulich and take advantage of the opportunities available through the pathway before beginning their Masters degree.

Enroll in an eligible undergraduate program at York University. - Apply to the Schulich Masters Pathway
Complete the SMP Supplementary Application. - Receive Conditional Admission
Students selected for SMP receive conditional admission to an eligible participating Schulich Masters program. - Complete Your Undergraduate Degree
Continue your York studies and meet the academic and degree requirements needed to maintain your conditional admission. - Continue Your Studies at Schulich
After completing your undergraduate degree and satisfying the conditions of admission, continue into your selected participating Schulich Masters program.

Master of Management (MMgt)
Build management skills on top of your non-business degree. The MMgt is designed for graduates from non-business backgrounds who want to add a broad foundation in management to their undergraduate expertise.

Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM)
Develop skills for careers in supply chain, operations and logistics. The MSCM develops analytical, managerial and problem-solving skills for careers across supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations and related fields.

Master of Health Industry Administration (MHIA)
Build the management skills to contribute to a changing healthcare sector. The MHIA combines management education with specialized knowledge of healthcare systems, strategy, innovation and leadership.
Eligibility
The Schulich Masters Pathway is available to eligible direct-entry and transfer students entering approved York University undergraduate programs. Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission to SMP.
Direct-Entry Applicants from High School
- Minimum admission average of 80%
- Meet the Schulich English language proficiency requirement
- Complete the SMP Supplementary Application
- Be admitted to Glendon College, Faculty of Science, Lassonde School of Engineering, Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change, Faculty of Health, School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD), or Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS)
Transfer Students
- Minimum B+ average in previous college or university studies
- Complete the SMP Transfer Student Supplementary Application
- Complete at least two academic years at York University, equivalent to 60 or more credits, in an SMP-approved faculty/program

- The MMgt is designed for graduates from non-business backgrounds.
- Business-related programs at York are excluded from MMgt SMP eligibility: Commerce, Economics, Business Economics, Financial and Business Economics, and Human Resources Management.
- Students pursuing the MMgt pathway may not obtain a minor, major or certificate in business.
- If you plan on entering a business program at York, you may wish to consider MSCM or MHIA via the SMP.
What Happens After You Join SMP?
To satisfy the academic condition for admission to their Schulich Masters program, students must:
- Maintain a minimum B+ average in the final two years of undergraduate study
- Successfully complete and confer a 120-credit undergraduate degree
- Meet any additional program-specific conditions associated with their selected Masters program
How to Apply & Deadline
The 2027 Schulich Masters Pathway Supplementary Application opens December 1, 2026.
The application includes two timed video responses and one timed written response.
The SMP Supplementary Application deadline is March 29, 2027 at 11:59 p.m.
