Maxim Voronov

I am fascinated by how people and organizations drive or resist big changes in our world. My research looks at the hidden cultural and emotional forces behind change, from the values and stories that inspire movements to the emotions that keep long-standing institutions in place. I explore topics like authenticity, power, trust, and collective action to understand how we build, challenge, and reshape the systems around us. I am also interested in the changing nature of expertise in contemporary society. Ultimately, my work aims to shed light on how meaningful change happens, and why it doesn’t. My work appears or is forthcoming in such leading  journals as Academy of Management ReviewAcademy of Management JournalJournal of Management StudiesHarvard Business Review, and Scientific American, among others.

I am a Senior Editor at Organization Studies. I am also currently serving on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, and Research in the Sociology of Organizations.
