Roberto Puebla (BA, MBA) is an experienced professional in international business with specialization in global trade and international finance. Currently, he is Director of Supplier Payments International at American Express where he leads a team of working capital specialists assisting multinational clients in 15 countries around the world. Roberto has a 25 year career span in international banking and global trade at organizations such as Scotiabank and HSBC and the Inter American Development Bank (IDB) supporting companies and financial institutions across North America, Latin American and Europe. For the past 15 years, he has been a resident professor at various colleges and universities in Canada, including University of Toronto, University of Fredericton (New Brunswick) and Seneca College. He has proudly been a faculty member at Schulich School of Business since 2019, where he teaches global trade at the Master in Supply Chain Management. Roberto has an Executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a BA in International Relations and Trade from the National University of Mexico.
