Celia Smith is the CEO of Luminato Festival, Canada’s leading multi-disciplinary international festival of arts, culture and creativity that takes over the GTA region every June with bold contemporary work.
She is also Chair of the Toronto Arts Council, a faculty member at the Schulich School of Business, and co-founder of the League of Toronto Festivals alongside the leaders of Pride Toronto, Salsa on St. Clair, and the Toronto Caribbean Carnival.
She co-founded LEAN (Leadership Emergency Arts Network), a national pro-bono initiative that supported arts organizations across Canada during COVID.
Previously, she served as COO of TAS, President of Artscape, and General Manager of the Canadian Stage Company.
