This course examines how individuals acquire and exercise power in organizations. It takes a pragmatic view of organizations as arenas where influence is shaped by perception, networks and control over resources. Case studies, simulations and practical frameworks are used to help students develop skills to powerfully lead organizations, balance the interests of multiple stakeholders and navigate and influence organizational cultures.
