Description

The ( ESL, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin, or Spanish ) Communication and Culture course is a non-credit language course offered in the Fall and Winter terms at the intermediate and/or advanced level of oral proficiency. Enrolment is limited to ten students. Taught by a native speaker, this course exposes students to business practices and the use of language in business contexts in the country and region where the language is spoken. The courses is mandatory for all IMBA students whose Placement Oral Proficiency level is below Advanced-High. Non-IMBA students may be granted permission to enrol if their oral proficiency is of the same level as the IMBA students enrolled in the class. There is a fee for this course for non-IMBA students.
