A global graduate work placement is a for-credit professional experience that immerses students in business activities with international or cross-border dimensions. Students work with globally engaged organizations, applying advanced managerial and analytical skills to real-world challenges while developing cross-cultural communication, global decision-making, and an understanding of how economic, institutional, and cultural differences shape business strategy. Prerequisites: At least 15 credits of the 5000 series Required Foundations of Management Core courses (applicable to MBA students only). Students may enroll in GBUS 6851 in either the term when the work placement occurs or in the term following the work placement. As part of the application to a work placement course, students must consult with Academic Advising and International Relations to determine which term to enroll in GBUS 6851.
