BBA Supplementary Application
Complete your Supplementary Application to be considered for admission to the Fall 2027 intake of the Schulich BBA program.
The Supplementary Application is a mandatory part of the BBA admission process.
Fall 2027 Application Deadlines
There are two timelines for Fall 2027 applicants: Early Consideration and Regular Consideration.
Early Consideration – Optional
Applicants who would like to be considered in our first admission review group must meet both of the following deadlines:

Early Consideration is optional. Applicants who do not meet the Early Consideration deadlines will not be disadvantaged in the admissions process. You can still be fully considered for admission by meeting the regular application deadlines below.
Early Consideration affects when your application may be reviewed, not how your application is assessed. Admission decisions will only be made once sufficient Grade 12 information is available.
Regular Consideration
Applicants who are not applying for Early Consideration must meet the following deadlines:

The February 1 Supplementary Application deadline is the same for all Fall 2027 BBA applicants.
How Will I Receive My Supplementary Application?
After you apply to the Schulich BBA (OUAC code: YBA) through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC), Schulich will email you an invitation with instructions for accessing and completing your Supplementary Application.
- If you applied through OUAC on or before October 10, 2026, you should receive your invitation by the end of October 16, 2026.
- If you apply after October 10, 2026, please allow up to 10 business days after submitting your OUAC application to receive your invitation.
- Be sure to check your junk and spam folders.
- Confirm that you applied to the Schulich BBA (OUAC code: YBA). The York University BCom is a different program.

If it has been more than 10 business days since you submitted your OUAC application, please:
- Confirm that you applied to the Schulich BBA (OUAC code: YBA);
- Check your junk and spam folders; and
- If you still cannot locate your invitation, contact admissions@schulich.yorku.ca for assistance.

The Supplementary Application Deadlines:
The regular Supplementary Application deadline for all Fall 2027 BBA applicants is February 1, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Applicants who wish to be considered for Early Consideration must:
- Submit their OUAC application by November 6, 2026; and
- Submit their Supplementary Application by November 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Early Consideration is optional. Applicants who submit their application after the Early Consideration deadlines will not be disadvantaged and can still be fully considered for admission by meeting the regular deadlines.
Early Consideration determines when an application may first be reviewed. It does not change how the application is assessed. Admission decisions will only be made once sufficient Grade 12 information is available.
York University and the Schulich Recruitment & Admissions office will be closed during the Winter Holiday Closure.
Applications will not be processed during the closure period. If you apply to the BBA between December 21, 2026 and January 11, 2027, there may be a delay in receiving your Supplementary Application invitation.
Supplementary Application invitations for applications received during this period will be sent after January 11, 2027.
If it is after January 11 and you have not received your invitation:
- Confirm that you applied to the Schulich BBA (OUAC code: YBA);
- Check your junk/spam folders for an email from no-reply@kiratalent.com; and
- If you still cannot locate your invitation, email admissions@schulich.yorku.ca with your York Student ID Number.
While waiting for your invitation, you can begin working on your Leadership Profile.
Within 7–10 business days of submitting your Schulich BBA application through OUAC, you will receive an email from York University containing your York Student ID Number.
The email will be sent from info@yorku.ca.
You will need your York Student ID Number when registering to complete your Supplementary Application.
No. The Supplementary Application is not accessed through or uploaded to MyFile.
After applying to the Schulich BBA through OUAC, you will receive a separate email invitation with instructions for accessing and completing your Supplementary Application.
Please allow up to 10 business days after applying through OUAC to receive this invitation, subject to the Winter Holiday Closure noted above.
Your Supplementary Application invitation includes a link to download the Leadership Profile template.
If you are having trouble downloading the template:
- Try opening the email in another browser, such as Firefox or Microsoft Edge; or
- Copy the link from the email and paste it into a new browser tab.
After completing the Leadership Profile, save the file with a unique filename and carefully review it before uploading it to Kira Talent.
No. You must upload your completed Leadership Profile before proceeding to the video interviews and timed writing exercise.
Do not upload an incomplete document as a placeholder. Once you proceed to the other components of the Supplementary Application, you will not be able to return and replace your Leadership Profile.
Yes. Beginning with the Fall 2027 admission cycle, applicants to the Schulich BBA program are required to pay a $50 Supplementary Application fee.
No. The Supplementary Application fee is non-refundable once the application has been submitted.
Please allow 7–10 business days after submitting your Supplementary Application for its status to be updated to Received in MyFile.
Updates will not be made during York University’s Winter Holiday Closure. Applications submitted during the closure may not appear as received in MyFile until after processing resumes.
Fall 2027 Leadership Profile
The Leadership Profile is one component of the Schulich BBA Supplementary Application. Applicants who completed a Leadership Profile in a previous admission cycle must complete and submit the Fall 2027 version. Previous versions of the Leadership Profile will not be accepted.
Leadership Profile FAQ

You should highlight meaningful experiences from high school that demonstrate initiative, collaboration, impact, and personal growth. Examples include:
- Student leadership, clubs, or councils
- Community involvement and volunteer work
- Sports or competitions
- Paid employment or entrepreneurial ventures
- Conferences, leadership programs, or international experiences
- Personal projects or experiences showing resilience or overcoming adversity
You must list a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 experiences. Leadership Profiles with fewer than 3 experiences will not be evaluated.
For each experience, you must provide:
- Experience name
- Your role/position
- Organization, school or group
- Reference
Yes. You must provide a reference who can verify your experience. Leadership Profiles with missing or incomplete references will not be evaluated.
- Use the Word template provided.
- Complete all sections clearly and accurately.
- Triple-check before uploading to Kira Talent to ensure all information and references are correct and you are uploading the correct file.
