The Sixteenth Schulich Startup Night (SSN 16) is almost here and we’re really excited to invite you to attend the event
Schulich Startup Night is a bi-annual event that gives students and alumni an opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of top industry professionals for a chance to win cash prize and professional support. The competition is followed by a Keynote Speaker Session.
The competition will be held 5:30-7:30 PM, following which we’ll have an online fireside chat session with a Keynote Guest Speaker. You, as a host, will facilitate an open, casual conversation with the guest. Audiences and competition participants will also join the discussion through their thoughtful questions.
You’ve always been a great supporter of the Schulich Startups Community and it would be amazing to have you for the event.

This signature Schulich Startups event gives students and alumni an opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of top industry professionals for a chance to win cash prizes and professional support. The students and alumni compete in two separate categories.

- 3 Finalists for student category
- 3 Finalists for alumni category
Final competition pitch structure
- 3-min presentation
- 4-min Q&A
The competition will be scored by our judges, Althea Wishloff, Roshni Wijayasinha, and Keith Loo. After the winners are announced, we will have open networking, for an opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and our sponsors.
