Schulich Professor Maxim Voronov has accepted the prestigious Senior Editor position  at Organization Studies, commencing April 15th, 2021.

Organization Studies (OS) publishes top quality theoretical and empirical research with the aim of promoting the understanding of organizations. OS is a monthly, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal with global reach that is rooted in the social sciences. It is included in the Financial Times Top 50 journals list.

“As a Senior Editor, I will have a chance to engage with authors and reviewers over longer periods to shepherd promising manuscripts from start to finish,” said Voronov. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to mentor authors and help them develop their research.”

The resulting world-class articles will contribute both to scholarly conversations and offer important insights for addressing some of the pressing challenges facing business organizations and society in general.

“Professionally, I see this as an opportunity to continue strengthening the links between North American and global traditions of organizational research. While other journals have started embracing research at the intersection of organizations and society, Organization Studies is the original home of this type of research, and has been for over 40 years,” said Voronov. “As someone steeped in both North American and European research traditions, I hope to use my position to continue bridging these perspectives that have much to contribute to each other.”

Voronov is also on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Management Studies.
