Pre-Arrival Checklist

  1. Make sure you have a study permit (mandatory). You will also be issued a temporary resident visa (TRV) or electronic travel authorization (eTA) as applicable.
  2. Secure Accommodations (apply for graduate student housing)
  3. Sign up for the Graduate Business Council’s Buddy Program
  4. Learn about Health Insurance
  5. Register and plan to arrive for New to Canada Orientation! Select your program below for registration details:

Arrival Checklist

  • Take a taxi or public transit from the airport
  • Check into your accommodation
  • Contact your Schulich Buddy
  • Go shopping for food and living essentials
  • Attend your New to Canada Orientation
