Program Overview

The Schulich Leaders Entrepreneurship Program is a 6-weekend virtual bootcamp and pitch competition designed exclusively for Schulich Leaders.

Schulich Leaders are the recipients of the Schulich Leader Scholarship who have completed their undergraduate education in Canada at one of the 20 partner universities.

This program bridges the gap between STEM brilliance and business execution, teaching you how to turn technical knowledge into a scalable startup.

Building on the Success of Cohort 1 ( 2025 )

Following a massive inaugural year in which 42 Schulich Leaders (both students and alumni) graduated. Launched 12 new ventures—with our winning team qualifying for the global $1M Hult Prize competition—Cohort 2 returns to offer an even more refined curriculum and access to world-class mentorship.

How it Works:

  • Global Collaboration: Selected Schulich Leaders from Canada form teams to tackle key challenges in Canada.
  • World-Class Curriculum: Interactive virtual sessions led by founders and VCs on validation, product-market fit, and fundraising.
  • Elite Mentorship: Every team is paired with an industry mentor (Founders, VCs, Tech Leaders) to guide them from ideation to pitch.

The Prizes:

The program culminates in a live pitch competition judged by real investors.

  • 1st Place: $10,000 CAD
  • 2nd Place: $5,000 CAD
  • 3rd Place : $ 1,000 CAD
  • Certificate: A Schulich Startups + YSpace Certificate of Completion.
