2026 is an even numbered year, so that means Schulich Research and PhD Day is coming up once again!

While final details are still being put together, this year’s event is shaping up to be one of our best – maybe even better than Research Day 2024!

Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the Schulich School of Business, this year’s Research & PhD Day is a fitting time for us to reflect on our past research achievements and what the future of business research may look like.

One important thing to note: you may have noticed that there’s been a *slight change* in what we used to call “Schulich Research Day.” It’s now “Schulich Research & PhD Day”. We’ve made this change to better recognize the work of our PhD students, and we feel that this name change is especially well-timed, given that the topic of our plenary panel this year is “Doing Impactful Business Research in the Future” – something that is likely on the minds of most of our current PhD students, not to mention current faculty members!

Other things to look forward to:

  • Research Poster gallery
  • Faculty & PhD student Meet & Greet
  • Plenary Panel Discussion, moderated by Eileen Fischer (panelists TBA)
  • Discussions about Schulich’s cutting edge research by our faculty members and PhD students
  • Presentation of the Dean’s Research Impact Awards and Research Poster awards, plus celebratory reception

Join us for Schulich Research & PhD Day on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Invitation emails will be sent to your Schulich email address in the coming weeks. Watch your inbox during the week of Jan. 26 for another “save the date”  mailout, and for a formal invite in early February.

And, please save the date in your calendars if you haven’t done so already!
