Six Schulich Alumnae Win Top 100 Most Powerful Women Award
The 2022 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winners was released by Women’s Executive Network (WXN). The Awards span the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, with the winners selected by WXN’s Diversity Council of Canada.
Schulich is honoured to announce that six alumnae were recognized as Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women:
- Racheal Awe (EMBA ’17), Vice-President and Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO, Canadian Tire Corporation
- Simone Harrington (MBA ’11), VP, Institute for Better Health, Trillium Health Partners
- Nurin Thawer (MBA ’14), AVP, Portfolio Management and Enterprise Planning, Canadian Tire Corporation
- Lisa Taylor (MBA ’98), President, Challenge Factor
- Penny Wise (MBA ’91), President, 3M Canada
- Shaheen Yazdani (BBA ’08), Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Intercept
The award recipients advocate fiercely for diversity and inclusion in business, on corporate boards, and within senior leadership. They are recognized for their meaningful impactful in their companies and communities such as championing the development, advancement, and recognition of Women across Canada through learning, networking, events, research and more.

WXN will celebrate each 2022 winner in person at its 20th annual Top 100 Awards Gala, hosted at the Fairmont Royal York Toronto on November 17.
