Schulich Ranked Among World’s Top 50 MBA Programs for Entrepreneurs
TORONTO, ON – Wednesday, September 17, 2025 – The Schulich School of Business at York University has been ranked one of the world’s top 50 MBA programs for entrepreneurs.
Released this week by PitchBook, the leading global source for startup and venture capital data, the ranking recognizes the world’s most successful universities and business schools when it comes to producing venture capital-backed founders.
Schulich School of Business earned its place among the world’s Top 50 MBA programs with 91 alumni founders representing 89 companies that collectively raised $757 million USD in venture capital funding. Schulich placed 41st overall, while Harvard ranked 1st, followed by Standford and Wharton.
In addition, York University and the Schulich School of Business made their debut in the Undergraduate category, ranking #99 globally – a placement contributed to significantly by Schulich alumni founders.

PitchBook’s annual university rankings tally the number of alumni entrepreneurs who have raised venture capital over the past decade. The 2025 PitchBook University Rankings are based on the educational backgrounds of more than 173,000 founders worldwide whose companies received venture funding between January 1, 2014, and September 1, 2025.
