Schulich has announced the renewal and expansion of its partnership with George Weston Limited (GWL) to support the George Weston Ltd. Centre for Sustainable Supply Chains, extending their collaboration through to 2030.
“Supply chains are essential to Canadian prosperity and provide the food, medication, and other items Canadians need by connecting communities from coast to coast,” said Galen Weston, Chairman and CEO of George Weston Ltd. “We are delighted to renew and expand our partnership with the Schulich School of Business to develop sustainable supply chains that contribute to a stronger, more resilient Canada.”
Launched in 2020, the Centre is a global hub of excellence in supply chain management, advancing teaching, research, and industry outreach. Over the past five years, the Schulich–GWL partnership has prepared the next generation of supply chain leaders while fostering innovative research and building strong collaboration between academia and industry. - Developing the next generation of leaders through industry-focused education, case competitions, and experiential learning opportunities
- Strengthening digital transformation & AI leadership in collaboration with Schulich’s Tech MBA Program
