Schulich and George Weston Limited Renew Partnership to Advance Sustainable Supply Chains
TORONTO, ON – Monday, October 27, 2025 – The Schulich School of Business at York University today announced that it has renewed and expanded its partnership with George Weston Limited to support the School’s George Weston Ltd. Centre for Sustainable Supply Chains, extending the collaboration through to 2030.
Launched in 2020, the Centre was established as a global hub of excellence in supply chain management, advancing teaching, research and industry outreach. Over the past five years, the partnership has helped prepare the next generation of supply chain leaders, while fostering innovative research and building strong collaboration between academia and industry.
Through this renewed partnership, the Centre will continue to deliver impact by:
- Advancing inclusion in the supply chain workforce through new scholarships and the launch of the Women in Supply Chain Mentorship Program.
- Developing the next generation of leaders through industry-focused experiential and co-curricular learning, including the expansion of the Sustainable Supply Chain Case Competition for graduate business students across Canada.
- Strengthening digital transformation & AI leadership in collaboration with Schulich’s Tech MBA Program.
