Schulich Alumni in York’s Top Changemakers Under 30
Five Schulich alumni are included in York University’s first-ever Top 30 Changemakers Under 30 list – recognizing and honouring the inspiring and diverse alumni who are exemplary leaders in creating positive change, at home and abroad.
Representing every Faculty at the University, these Changemakers are all leaders working and volunteering in a variety of fields – from health and sustainability to the arts and business. They work to bring a uniquely global perspective to help solve societal challenges. The five are representatives of our Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence (MMAI), Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) and BBA programs.
The Schulich Changemakers are:
“As a Schulich graduate, I am humbled to be recognized for making a positive change by leveraging my educational foundation to spread financial literacy awareness,” said Pozin. “What started out as a small passion project has transformed my career and my perspective on leadership.”
“I am honoured to be selected. One of the projects that I am spearheading is to provide opportunities for underprivileged youth to participate in a charity basketball camp with a focus on inclusion and diversity,” said Wang. “I am hoping to build a mentorship network that will help youth realize their fullest potential on and off the court while fostering a sense of community and empowerment, reflective of my experiences at Schulich.”
