Broadcasting, Telecom Acts review panel announced.
ARTM Adjunct Professor, noted Communications Lawyer Peter Grant, named to the Broadcasting, Telecom Acts review panel.
Grant’s legal practice has focused on technology, communications and intellectual property. He has acted in issues related to broadcasting and cable television licensing, satellite services, copyright negotiations, mass media and press law, cultural industries and telecommunications regulation. He is the author of a number of articles as well as The Canadian Broadcasting Regulatory Handbook (multiple issues); Blockbusters and Trade Wars and Changing Channels: Confessions of a Canadian Communications Lawyer. Well known as an expert on Canadian communications policy Grant has consulted domestically and internationally working with both the CRTC and UNESCO in the process.
